Business Visa

Eligibility: A Business Visa is given to those who are doing business in India such as making sales or establishing contacts on behalf of a company outside of India. Business visas may be valid for three months to one year or more with single or multiple entries. However, the period of stay in India (for each visit) under this category is limited to six months only without registration. However, if the applicant wants to stay for more than 180 days, he/she should get himself/herself registered with the concerned Foreigner's Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) within two weeks after the expiry of 180 days of his arrival in India.

From submission of the application to the issuance of visa, e-Visa is a completely online procedure for which no facilitation from Embassy is required. Here are simple steps:

Apply for a regular (paper sticker) Business Visa by filling the online application at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html and submit a printout of the application along with the following documents at the Embassy of India Athens. 

Documents Required: 

1. Printed Visa Application form, signed in blue, as per signature on passport.

2. Original Passport with at least 2 continuous blank pages, in good condition.

3. Two photocopies of Passport pages with details.

4. Two recent identical colored photographs, with 5 cm x 5cm dimensions, on white background with 70% of face zoom.

5.  In case the applicant holds a 2nd Nationality Passport, a photocopy of passport page with details.

6. One photocopy of previous Indian Visa, if exists, with stamps of exit/entrance. One photocopy of previous passport’s page with details, in case the visa was pasted there.

7. Coloured photocopy of the Invitation letter (click here to download sample)
   
   
8. Coloured photocopy of the Letter of Incorporation of Indian Company.
   
   
9. Recommendation letter (in original, click here to download sample). If the applicant’s last Business visa still valid, please ask for its cancellation in the Recommendation Letter.
   
   Additional Documents Required for Non-Greek Passport Holders:
   
   Residence proof (more than two years of residence) in country of application - Greek Residence Permit for more than two years and Tax Return Statement of last two years prior to the date of the official Visa submission of visa application.
