Conference Visa

Eligibility: Conference visas are issued for attending conferences or seminars in India.

How to apply:

> Apply for e-Conference Visa at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html 

From submission of the application to the issuance of visa, e-Visa is a completely online procedure for which no facilitation from Embassy is required. Here are simple steps:

Apply for a regular (paper sticker) Conference Visa by filling the online application at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html and submit a printout of the application along with the following documents at the Embassy of India Athens.

Documents Required:

• Printed Visa Application form, signed in blue, as per signature on passport.
• Original Passport with at least 2 continuous blank pages, in good condition.
• Two photocopies of Passport pages with details.
• Two recent identical colored Biometric photographs, with 5 cm x 5cm dimensions, on white background with 70% of face zoom.
• One photocopy of previous Indian Visa, if exists, with stamps of exit/entrance. One photocopy of previous passport’s page with details, in case the visa was pasted there.
• In case 2nd Nationality Passport exists, photocopy of its page with details.
• Signed Letter of Invitation from the Organisers of the Conference
• Administrative approval of Nodal Ministry, Government of India
• Clearance from Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India
• Clearance from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
