As part of the observance of Seva Parv, the Embassy of India, Athens organized a series of community-focused activities in Greece on 27 September, 2026,  with  an aim to reflect the diverse dimensions of Seva Parv, bringing together the values of service, sustainability, community solidarity and national development.

2. On the occasion,  Embassy of India, Athens organized a community event at Gurudwara Shri Dashmesh Singh Sabha, Marathona, to boost diaspora engagement. Ambassador Shri Ravi Shankar sought the blessings at the Gurudwara and interacted with members of the Sikh community in Greece. The event underscored India's commitment to strengthening ties and supporting the diaspora ecosystem. 
3. During the event, Ambassador Shri Ravi Shankar also planted a sapling at the Gurudwara under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative. The gesture symbolised the shared responsibility towards environmental sustainability and reflected the spirit of community participation and solidarity.
4. Further, the Embassy also organized the Viksit Bharat Run at the iconic Marathon Stadium, the historic birthplace of the Marathon Race. Bringing together members of the community, the event celebrated the spirit of endurance, determination and collective progress, while highlighting the vision of a Viksit Bharat. The event also featured the administration of the Atmanirbhar Bharat pledge, reaffirming the collective commitment to the vision of a self-reliant India and to contributing to the country’s continued development and progress.
